Spend one hour at Teatro Flamenco Malaga watching dancers, singers, and guitarists perform Esencia, a changing nightly flamenco show in central Malaga. The intimate theater gives most seats a close view. Drinks are available at the bar, but food is not served.

At El Gallo Ronco, near Calle Larios, you watch a one-hour flamenco performance in a small tablao with dancers, singer, and guitarist close to the audience. Host Saad has been praised for attentive service, and food and drinks are available in the adjoining taberna, salon, and terrace for an extra charge.

Start with dinner or six tapas and dessert at Alegría Flamenco y Gastronomía, with views toward Málaga Cathedral and the Pompidou Centre. Then move into the theater for a one-hour flamenco show featuring guitar, song, and dance. Drinks cost extra, and the performance changes weekly.

At Restaurant VinoMio in central Malaga, watch a 45-minute flamenco performance by singers, guitarists, and dancers while you dine. The small room uses no microphones or speakers. Your ticket covers the show, but food costing at least €15 per person and drinks are extra.

Spend about an hour with two dancers, two singers, and a guitarist in Alegría’s small theatre near Muelle Uno, Centre Pompidou, and Malagueta Beach. Add dinner afterward at the attached restaurant, which serves Spanish dishes along with vegan, vegetarian, and children’s options.
“Very talented performers. If you are in the back, you can stand and see everything including feet but you want to make sure that young kids or disabled are not in that position. My daughter and I stood, so no problem, but the family behind us had young kids and struggled.”
