2.Caracalla Baths & Circus Maximus — Private or Shared

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 835 reviews · 1.5 hours · from $77

Explore the Baths of Caracalla for one hour, then spend 30 minutes at Circus Maximus with a live archaeologist guide. Expect striking mosaics, underfloor heating, ancient leisure customs, and stories of chariot races. Choose a private or small-group tour in English or five other languages.

“Our guide, Francesca, was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to answer all our questions. We booked a small group tour but ended up as just us which was a bonus. This activity by comparison to others such as the Appian Way, aqueduct and catacombs and the ghost tour, didn't feel like value for money, it seemed quite expensive. This is in no way a reflection on our guide as Francesca who brought the ruins to life and explained what we saw in great detail, she was superb.”
