The standard house ticket. You are seated shortly before curtain, the champagne is poured at the table and the show runs about two hours. The later house is the easier one to get.
Dinner first, then the feathers
A three-course service starts in the room two hours before the curtain, so the whole evening runs to about four hours. It costs roughly double and it is the tier that fills first.

Two houses run every night, at 21:00 and at 23:00, and the gap between the champagne ticket and the dinner ticket is most of the price. The dress code is not decorative: jackets are welcome, shorts and sportswear are turned away at the door.

Thang Long Water Puppets
Puppeteers stand waist-deep behind a bamboo screen and walk lacquered wooden figures across a pool, a Red River delta village art close to a thousand years old. The Uluwatu Kecak

Dress codes, age limits, and what time a show actually starts.
Paris cabarets turn away shorts and sportswear at the door. Most drag and burlesque rooms are eighteen and over, while the Moulin Rouge seats children from six. A dinner tier puts you in the room a good hour before the curtain, and the cheaper ticket usually means eating first, somewhere else. Read the start time twice: a nine o’clock house is not a nine o’clock arrival.
